Job Title: Ultimate Tech Instructor

Join our team of passionate educators as an Ultimate Tech Instructor, where you will play a vital role in delivering engaging technology and coding activities to children aged 8-14.

About the Role

As an Ultimate Tech Instructor, you will be responsible for leading small groups of children in technology and coding activities, ensuring a fun and safe learning environment. You will also be expected to manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver high-quality activities and provide excellent customer service to parents and school representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver technology and coding activities for children aged 8-14, focusing on participation, skill development, and enjoyment.
  • Directly manage a team of staff to ensure they deliver the quality of care and standard of activities expected at the Ultimate Activity Company.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to by yourself, your staff, and the children in your care, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
  • Supervise and engage with children outside of timetabled activities.
  • Manage administrative duties and act as the main point of contact for parents of children attending Ultimate Tech Camps.
  • Live up to the Ultimate Activity Camp promise of 'Inspiring Children Every Day' and behave in a manner that reflects the expectations of the company throughout your employment.
Requirements
  • Qualified or working towards relevant qualifications in IT teaching, Computer Science, or a Digital Media related course, with programming experience.
  • An enthusiastic and energetic individual with experience in working with children and a passion for helping young people develop their IT skills.
  • A natural leader with management experience, ideally within the IT teaching or holiday camp sectors.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to talk to parents and host school staff.
  • Problem-solving skills and patience, with the ability to help individuals with problems in a one-to-one basis.
