We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at HMP Whitemoor, a category A men's prison.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who are dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.
The role involves supervising staff and ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the facilities, including commercial or industrial heating and water or building services systems.
The ideal candidate will have five years' experience as a plumber or equivalent, be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements, and have experience of supervising staff.
Relevant professional qualifications, such as facilities management or project management, are desirable.
The successful candidate will also have excellent organisational, time management and people skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
