The ideal candidate will possess a strong comfort level in engaging with high-ranking officials from the UN, corporate sectors, and governmental bodies, alongside a comprehensive understanding of sustainable agricultural practices, food systems, supply chains, and climate change legislation.
This position is tailored for a driven and passionate event producer with a minimum of four years of experience in the field, seeking a challenging yet fulfilling role that allows them to shape and develop a portfolio of events focused on generating positive environmental and social outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
- Programme Development: Establish themes, draft session outlines, and define outcomes that align with the event's objectives.
- Content Strategy: Design and manage the content strategy and agenda for both in-person and virtual formats, focusing on key thematic areas.
- Content Creation: Develop materials for conference sessions, interviews, and speaker scripts in collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Value Proposition Development: Craft a compelling narrative to attract distinguished speakers, sponsors, and key participants.
- Programme Oversight: Implement and track content strategies, ensuring that milestones are achieved throughout the event lifecycle.
- Speaker Coordination: Identify and confirm high-profile speakers and moderators, managing their session requirements effectively.
- Engagement with Thought Leaders: Secure influential climate leaders as speakers through extensive sector knowledge.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire event management process, ensuring seamless execution from inception to conclusion.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor activities, and challenges.
- Speaker Briefings: Prepare comprehensive briefing documents and coordinate all speaker engagements.
- Commercial Viability: Ensure that agendas are financially sustainable while maintaining impactful content.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and assess progress to ensure that key performance indicators are met.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Secure partnerships and manage their involvement and sponsorship.

Candidate Profile:
The Successful Candidate Will Possess:
- A minimum of four years' experience in organizing and delivering international B2B conferences, particularly in sustainability and climate change.
- Experience within a specific market sector, demonstrating strong relationships with key industry players.
- Alignment with Climate Action's mission and objectives.
- Relevant qualifications in sustainability or climate-related fields are preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of climate change, policy, and sustainability issues.
- Experience with climate-related challenges and the UNFCCC process.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive initiatives and build collaborative networks.
- Successful track record in producing live and online events.
- Ability to work independently and proactively to achieve project goals.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and timelines.
