Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital as a Clinical Lead. As a key member of our Cardiac Unit, you will be responsible for providing specialist clinical knowledge and skills in a broad range of cardiac physiological investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert care for patients undergoing diagnosis and treatment in the Cath Lab and Pacing Departments.
  • Lead the cardiac rhythm management service efficiently and effectively, ensuring the smooth running of a quality invasive physiology and pacing service to patients.
  • Provide administrative support to the department manager and demonstrate highly developed knowledge and skills in a broad range of cardiology investigation.
  • Perform a wide range of complex or advanced procedures on adults, as requested by the clinician in one or all of the following Clinical Physiology fields: Electrophysiology, Cardiac Rhythm Management, Cardiac Catheter Lab intervention and non-invasive Cardiac Physiology.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in Physiology or similar.
  • Electrophysiological studies & Ablation.
  • Interventional Procedures: LHC and PCI (haemodynamic monitoring and reporting).
  • Coronary assessment. Support TAVI, other valvuloplasty, Closure Device procedures (ASD, PFO, LAA).
  • Implantable cardiac devices such as pace makers, ICDs and device follow ups.
