Job Title: Sous Chef

We're seeking an experienced and talented Sous Chef to join our team at The Foundry Belfast. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes that showcase our culinary expertise.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure that all health and safety standards are met and maintained in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to plan and execute menus, specials, and events.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
