About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paediatric A&E Nurse to join our team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. As a Paediatric A&E Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people who present to the emergency department with a range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management.
  • To work collaboratively with patients' families and carers to discuss the care and condition of the paediatric patient.
  • To display excellent analytical ability and sound decision-making in changing clinical situations.
  • To check and use specialized equipment such as monitors and ventilators.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric A&E Nurse environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • A Paediatric Nursing Degree.
