Job Summary:
The Salvation Army is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Relief Cleaning Assistant to provide temporary part-time support to our cleaning team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at Strawberry Field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all areas, including ancillary rooms and entrances, to a high standard.
- Ensure windows and sills are clean and free from dirt and grime.
- Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and washing areas, and replenish toilet consumable items.
- Empty and clean waste bins, and remove rubbish.
- Inform the Site Manager of cleaning supplies needs.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is essential.
- You must be able to work independently and use your initiative.
- You should have knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
- You should be able to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience of working with and supporting vulnerable people in a work environment.
- A current health and safety/first aid qualification.
