BMS Performance is a leading supplier of façade and timber products to the construction industry, with a turnover exceeding £200 million per year. We work on a wide range of projects, including housing developments, stadiums, shopping centers, and more.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Trainee to join our well-established sales team. As a Sales Trainee, you will represent our full range of brick and masonry products, learning all aspects of the business and developing towards targeting architects, building contractors, property developers, and house builders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, communicating effectively and promptly.
  • Quote Preparation: Prepare and send quotes and sales information to customers as requested, meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Sample Management: Arrange samples for projects and maintain stocks and showroom facilities where applicable.
  • Administrative Support: Use our project HUB to provide administration support to the external sales team.
  • Database Management: Be proactive in organizing databases for mailshots and supporting company marketing activities.
  • Performance Targets: Meet company expectations in relation to target income, company procedures, and KPIs to ensure progression up the sales ladder.
  • Training and Development: Embrace training and development on sales and product knowledge.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the directors to achieve team objectives.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: £30,000 basic salary.
  • OTE: Circa £35,000.
  • Holiday Entitlement: 25 days holiday + bank holidays (increases with years of service).
  • Pension Scheme: We offer a pension scheme.
  • Company Equipment: iPad, mobile, laptop.
  • Company Car Scheme: Eligible after the 6-month probation period.
Requirements

We require a full UK driving license.
