**Job Summary**

Utility People is seeking an experienced Energy Procurement Specialist to join our team. As an Account Manager - Energy Services, you will be responsible for maintaining delivery of our energy procurement services and upselling and cross-selling a range of energy management services to our corporate clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Negotiate and implement clients' annual energy contracts, including flexible and fixed-price options.
  • Interface directly with large clients at boardroom level, providing strategic interaction and reporting for multicommodity corporate clients.
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for retention, up-selling, and client issues.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and contract management.
  • Liaise directly with utility suppliers on behalf of clients.
  • Coordinate and deliver strategic interaction and reporting for multicommodity corporate clients.
  • Support other divisions in client contact and visiting, including the Technical Team (surveys) and Sales.
  • Articulate client requirements for functional team delivery and resolution.

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years' experience in the energy sector.
  • 3 years in an Account Manager role, ideally with a consultancy or in-house supplier.
  • Exemplary communication skills at all levels of business, verbal and written.
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
  • Commercial risk management skills.
  • Problem ownership skills with the ability to work collaboratively to find suitable solutions.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly MS Excel.
  • Degree or A-Level (desirable).
