About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Research and Development team as a Year in Industry Laboratory Placement. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the development of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical input and support to a range of developments in our portfolio of health products.
  • Develop products, solve technical challenges, or perform project-specific analytical testing.
  • Develop new formulations for Strepsils or Nurofen.
  • Analyse products, including testing on equipment such as spray pattern testing of aerosols for our Airwick brand or destruction testing of devices.
  • Support the Microbiology team with performing microbial quality preservative efficacy testing.
About the Placement

This 12-month placement will provide you with a fantastic foundation of knowledge of Reckitt and a unique insight into the workings of a global FMCG company. You will have the opportunity to work in Reckitt's state-of-the-art £100m Science and Innovation Centre, one of the largest single investments in the company's history.

During your placement, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, develop new skills, and collaborate with experienced industry experts. You will also have the chance to participate in the YII student mentoring programme, workshops, and courses to support your personal development.
