As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions for our clients. Your expertise in data architecture, cloud computing, and data engineering will enable you to drive business growth and innovation.

Responsibilities:

* Lead client engagements and project delivery
* Deliver highly scalable big data architecture solutions using Google Cloud Technology
* Create and maintain appropriate standards and best practices around Google Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and other data technologies
* Mentor and develop architects and engineers within the Data team

Requirements:

* Strong experience as a Data Architect
* Knowledge of modern SQL including advanced queries such as triggers, stored procedures, views, joins, and subqueries
* Hands-on experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
* The ability to create and interpret solution designs using UML/ERD diagrams
* Experience in optimising performance and monitoring of hybrid on-premise and cloud data warehouse solutions
* Familiar with common enterprise data governance standards and requirements
* Cloud experience; GCP or AWS preferred
* Experience in working with agile software engineering teams

Location:

This role can be either fully remote or hybrid based depending on your preference. We have offices in London, Manchester, Swindon and Edinburgh in the UK. You can choose to work from any of these office locations as often as you like. There is no mandatory office working, but you might be expected to travel to offices or customer sites for specific meetings or events.
