Job Summary:

eTeach UK Limited is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team to support students with physical and learning needs within our Pre 16 provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with Additional Needs (AP) to create a supportive learning environment that enables them to develop increased independence and learning.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the inclusion of students with disabilities in our Pre 16 education.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans for students.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making recommendations for support and intervention.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a high level of student engagement and motivation.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding and Prevent policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
