Job Title: Senior Asset Integrity Engineer

At INEOS Energy, we are committed to producing and trading oil, gas, power, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and carbon credits while investing in low-carbon technologies to sustain our business through the energy transition.

Key objectives of this role include developing designs, plans, and executing completion, well testing, stimulation, work-over, and intervention well operations.

The role will be based out of our office in Norwich and will report directly to the UK/DK Drilling and Completion Manager.

Ad-hoc support may be required to the Drilling and Completion Team in Denmark.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational risks are assessed and reduced to as low as reasonably practicable.
  • Ensure designs and operations comply with company standards and policies and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Ensure all safety-critical equipment meets design standards and is verified by an independent inspection body.

Technical and Commercial:
  • Review and understand subsurface well data packs.
  • Develop completion, testing, stimulation, and intervention design philosophies.
  • Design and operability risk assessments.
  • Detailed programming.
  • Onshore support and supervision during completion and testing phases of the well.
  • Well service support for producing assets.
  • Data capture and lessons learned.
  • Management of KPIs through regular performance reviews.

Requirements include 15+ years of experience in design, planning, and execution of completion, testing, stimulation, and intervention operations both on and offshore, as well as detailed knowledge of completions, perforating, stimulation, well testing, drill stem testing, work-overs, and intervention techniques. A degree-level engineering qualification is preferred.
