We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lawyer to lead our In-House Legal Team at ACHUMAN CAPITAL.

Our company is a leading provider of prefabricated Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing systems throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe, and we are expanding our operations and client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the In-House Legal Team and serve as the primary point of contact for all legal and contractual matters within the company.
  • Evaluate the commercial impact of contractual issues and advise the senior management team accordingly.
  • Identify and mitigate potential legal risks before they arise.
  • Provide training and mentorship to the company's in-house solicitor.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial and Operations departments to advise on contractual matters.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts with suppliers, sub-contractors, and other external parties.
  • Manage the company's insurance policies and Trade Credit Cover.
  • Offer ongoing advice to senior management on industry-related legal issues that may impact the company.
  • Provide employment and regulatory advice to the company.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister with commercial experience and a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience.
  • A people-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
