Stock Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team at Vibe Recruit. As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect goods against delivery notes for accuracy and damages
  • Inspect goods against specification and engineering drawings
  • Notify relevant staff of any shortages, damage or non-conformance
  • Assist with the physical movement of stock from the Goods-in area to the stores area and putting away stock
  • Timely issue and kitting of materials to production in line with production schedules
  • Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Responsible for the storage, control and movement of raw material stock
  • Loading/unloading trucks and moving stock
  • Packing of customer orders ready for dispatch and completion of all packing slips etc.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience using MRP Systems
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Manufacturing or assembly background
  • Proficient IT skills
