We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English and Maths Educator to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. As a key member of our education department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to adult learners in a prison setting.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a high-quality curriculum for Functional Skills English and Maths (Entry Level- Level 2) to adult learners in a prison environment.
- Work closely with the College management team to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of adult learners.
- Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their educational goals.
- Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics.
- A Degree, or professional qualification, which is appropriate to the work.
- Teaching Qualification.
- Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
- Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills.
