Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist II to provide coordination of physiotherapy and other allied health clinical services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work independently and collaboratively to provide leadership to other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will be essential in making day-to-day clinical decisions on patient/family needs regarding assessment, intervention, discharge, and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervision of students and team members as assigned
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient, and effective client care
  • Make decisions and advise team members on complex clinical cases
  • Ensure physiotherapy practice is evidence-based and in alignment with Alberta legislation and regulations, professional standards of practice, code of ethics, and AHS policy and guidelines
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of an assigned service area and monitor care delivery
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience
  • Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
