Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Goods In Operative to join our team at SOUTH WEST RECRUITMENT.

As a Goods In Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming goods meet the company's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to identify and address any quality issues.
  • Implement effective labeling and identification procedures for all components.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar quality-conscious environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably in the aerospace sector.
  • Ability to work accurately to established procedures.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in computer software.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft products.
  • Experience with manual handling of high-value items.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Experience of working in an environment with competing priorities.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm (39 basic hours).

Salary:

£12.50 per hour.
