The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Director to join our team on a part-time basis to cover maternity leave. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Client Program Management: Taking ownership of client programs, resolving issues, and working collaboratively with the team.
  • PR and Marcomms Planning: Developing smart, metric-driven PR and marcomms plans linked to clients' business objectives.
  • Account Direction: Providing full account direction while being willing to roll up your sleeves to support the team.
  • Client Servicing and Planning: Demonstrating leadership and experience in client relationships, management, and professionalism.
  • Strategic Development: Understanding the complete PR discipline from print to digital and social, and developing strategic plans for client growth.
  • Team Leadership: Coaching, mentoring, and supporting junior team members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Industry Expertise: A real passion and understanding of the B2B technology sector.
  • Media Relations: A detailed understanding of the B2B technology industry, including journalist, analyst, and other media relationships.
  • Campaign Management: A proven track record in running B2B campaigns within an agency environment.
  • Team Management: Ability to manage and motivate client teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership: Confident in fronting the account teams and giving strategic counsel to clients.
  • New Business: Experienced in handling new business and supporting on new business proposals and pitches.
