Head of Counselling & Practice

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Counselling and Practice to join our Senior Management Team at EACH Counselling and Support. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered, and needs-led counselling services to our clients.

The Role

As Head of Counselling and Practice, you will be responsible for providing leadership, clinical, and managerial input and direction across our Counselling and Support services. This will include:

  • Providing clinical supervision and annual appraisals to our counsellors
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain and improve clinical practice and therapeutic work
  • Managing an appropriate small caseload, including conducting assessments, care-planning, reviews, and planned discharges
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of new initiatives and areas of work aligned to our organisational strategy and ambitions
What We Need From You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified to provide clinical supervision
  • Line management experience or experience of supervising work of other staff/volunteers within the health and social care or voluntary sector
  • Experience of providing structured counselling/psychotherapy within a recognised framework in a relevant field
  • Experience of developing and delivering training sessions, workshops
