Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Driver possessing a LGV CAT C license to take on a vital role within our operations.

The candidate must meet the criteria for UK security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute tasks assigned by the Vehicle Coordinator and adhere to directives from the Logistics Manager or their representatives.
  • Address the needs and expectations of our contracts and clients effectively.
  • Assist in the secure and systematic storage and transportation of delivery-related equipment.
  • Deliver logistics support during operational hours and occasionally outside standard hours.
  • Transport equipment, supplies, and vehicles as required across various locations.
  • Contribute to the documentation and tracking of equipment quantities and their respective locations.
  • Support the upkeep of readiness for equipment, property, and vehicles essential for operational demands.
  • Provide administrative and management support in logistics during the absence of key personnel.
  • Extend assistance to other departments, including Contract Support, Site Maintenance, and Training, when necessary.
  • Engage in personal development training as outlined by your Line Manager or Senior Management.
  • This includes obtaining and maintaining qualifications and competencies necessary for the safe operation of vehicles used in service delivery.
  • Maintain competencies required for functioning in a professional training environment as stipulated by our clients and their customers.
  • Embrace and utilize both existing and emerging technologies to meet business requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Category C driving license
  • Proficient in IT (Basic MS Office skills).
  • Ability to adapt to new technological advancements.
  • Familiarity with Geo Pal systems is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in logistics or supply chain delivery
  • Experience working collaboratively within a logistics team or similar environment.
  • Capability to operate independently without supervision.
  • Understanding of the fire sector and relevant vehicles and equipment.
  • Knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations applicable in a practical or technical setting.
