As a shareholder alliance of GP Practices, our mission is to ensure the sustainable delivery of primary care at scale while fostering workforce development and enhancing patient access to primary care across North Norfolk.
The GP Front Door Service
Responding to increased demand at Emergency Departments, the GP Front Door Service operates much like a traditional branch GP practice. It offers appointments with clinicians from various practices, expanding accessibility for patients throughout North Norfolk. The service is operational 12 hours daily, 7 days a week, staffed by two clinicians and one receptionist per day.
Your Role as Receptionist
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the GP Front Door Service. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and registering patients professionally.
- Efficiently booking appointments into the clinical system (SystmOne).
- Directing patients to their designated appointment areas.
- Generating daily reports from the clinical system as required.
- Assisting with the induction of new clinicians and reception staff.
Essential Skills and Attributes
We are seeking a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Proficiency in SystmOne is essential, along with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
