About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Marketing Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join our vibrant Marketing Group within Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) at The University of Manchester.

This is a teaching-and-research focused position, where you will contribute to our reputation for world-class research, publishing your research in leading international journals, and lead and develop expertise in key areas through both research and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach on related degree programmes at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, including the MSc in Marketing and MSc in Digital Marketing programmes.
  • Conduct research and publish in leading international journals, with a focus on advanced quantitative marketing research, retail marketing, consumer behaviour, digital marketing, and business-to-business marketing.
  • Develop and lead research agendas in the field of marketing, with a focus on innovative and exciting research topics.
  • Contribute to the development of the Marketing Group and the School, through service and leadership roles.

Requirements
  • A PhD in Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching and research in marketing, with a strong publication record in leading international journals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
  • A strong research agenda, with a focus on innovative and exciting research topics in marketing.
