Experienced FLT Driver Wanted for Air Freight Ground Support Company

Job Summary:
Pertemps Network Group is seeking an experienced FLT Driver to join our team at a leading air freight ground support company based at Gatwick Airport. As a FLT Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading parcels, freight, and cargo from vehicles, building and breaking down aircraft pallets, and driving airside to transport cargo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading parcels, freight, and cargo from vehicles
- Building and breaking down aircraft pallets
- Building cargo onto aircraft units to airline specifications
- Working on a busy parcel sorting line moving parcels from aircraft containers
- Scanning cargo and completing airfreight documentation
- Driving airside to transport cargo
Requirements:
- A valid counterbalance FLT licence with certifications
- Any experience as a Warehouse Operative or cargo operative would be highly desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- A valid UK driving licence
What We Offer:
- All shifts £15.12 p/h rising to £16.12 after probation
- Overtime after successful completion of probation, £29.56 p/h
