Pertemps is seeking a dedicated Mail Carrier to join our team in Cookstown.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of mail to residents and businesses within the designated area.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver mail and packages accurately and efficiently to addresses within a specified route.
• Maintain a safe and professional demeanor while interacting with customers.
• Adhere to all postal regulations and safety protocols.
• Complete daily delivery logs and reports.

Requirements:

• Valid driving license required.
• Ability to walk long distances and carry heavy mailbags.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Successful completion of a disclosure check.

This is an initial 8-week contract with the potential for extension. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.37 and involves working 30 hours per week, Monday to Saturday (5 days out of 6), from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Overtime opportunities may be available.
