Job Summary:

The Deputy Head Housekeeper will support the Head Housekeeper in the efficient running of the housekeeping team at THE PIG in the Cotswolds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Housekeeper in leading the housekeeping team and ensuring exceptional standards across all areas of the hotel.
  • Support the development and performance of Room Attendants and Linen Porters.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Liaise with the maintenance team to ensure the condition of all furnishings, fittings, and equipment.
  • Manage linen, deliveries, and stock.
  • Play a key role in the preparation and cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Deputy Head Housekeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach to leading the team.
  • Ability to set an example and encourage team development.
