Quantum Science Ltd (QS) is on the lookout for a skilled sales engineering manager to enhance our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with both the product and sales divisions, delivering technical solutions and driving sales for major semiconductor original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the realm of infrared imaging and sensing technologies. QS stands at the forefront of innovation in infrared quantum dots, advancing cutting-edge technologies for burgeoning sectors, including next-gen smartphones, advanced driver-assistance systems, industrial automation, and healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales technical support and educate clients about our products.
  • Prepare accurate client quotations and oversee client accounts.
  • Organize and facilitate product training sessions.
  • Effectively communicate how our offerings align with client requirements in terms of quality and pricing.

  • Negotiate contract terms to satisfy both client and organizational needs.
  • Deliver after-sales support and technical assistance as required.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional technical support.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities to broaden the customer base.
  • Analyze financial data to guide strategic decisions.
  • Generate detailed reports for management and maintain comprehensive customer records.
  • Consistently meet and surpass sales objectives while managing technical sales projects effectively.
  • Engage in marketing initiatives, including participation in trade shows and promotional events.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to illustrate how our products fulfill client needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and technical specialists to ensure effective communication.
  • Contribute to the design of customized products.
  • Develop training materials and provide support for other sales team members.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree (PhD preferred) in nanomaterials, semiconductor materials, physics, electrical engineering, or a related field is required. An MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales within an intellectual property-driven deep-tech environment.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience in technical development, product validation, or product launch.
  • Strong connections and knowledge of the semiconductor and electronics sectors.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, with up to 50% of time spent visiting clients.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional European or Asian languages is a plus.
