Maintenance Engineer

ASC Connections is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in a heavy industry manufacturing environment.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance to provide support to our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, machinery, and site facilities, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide electrical and mechanical maintenance for site facilities, Foundry equipment, and machinery, including CNC machinery (Romi, Mazak).
- Read and work from electrical/panel drawings, fault finding down to a component level.
- PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults.
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment/machinery.
- Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a heavy industry/manufacturing environment.
- Electrical qualification (level 3 or above).
- Ability to diagnose PLC logic faults (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Fanuc).
- Availability to work a weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm.
- Overtime paid at time + 1/3 midweek and Saturday, time + Sunday.
- 33 days holiday, including bank holidays.
