Main Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a Supervising Practitioner for Children and Young People. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery and supervision of targeted CBT informed early interventions, ensuring that a wide range of evidence-based interventions are used to support young people's mental health and wellbeing.

Key Duties
  • Support the delivery and supervision of targeted CBT informed early interventions
  • Provide leadership within the team focused on service delivery, ensuring a high quality, safe and responsive mental health service to children, young people, parents/carers and professionals
  • Work in partnership with service users and partner agencies, as part of a multi-agency system
Requirements
  • At least 4 years post registration experience in a setting where mental health is the primary focus, with some experience in a CAMHS setting
  • Registration with a relevant Professional body
  • Specialist training in a subject/skill relevant to Child & Adolescent Mental Health (0-18 years), together with CYP IAPT Dip in CBT/SFP/IPT-A
Person Specification
  • RN Mental Health or equivalent Social Work qualification
  • Dip or BSc OT or Doctorate in clinical psychology or Systemic Psychotherapy/Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
