Job Title: Site Engineer

RTL Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their team in Leeds. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of work completed on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and monitor the quality of work completed on site
  • Collaborate with the site team to identify and implement continuous improvements
  • Assist in managing systems to track progress against time, quality, dimensions, and quantity
  • Record and test workmanship and materials
  • Provide engineering support to overcome technical problems and answer technical queries
  • Set out works within allowable tolerances
  • Check setting out points and benchmarks, and ensure calibration certificates are recorded
  • Ensure workforce understands setting out information
  • Provide and maintain setting out and dimensional control
  • Manage Health and Safety on site
  • Coordinate and supervise temporary works
  • Implement test and inspection plans
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Technical knowledge of construction and best practices
  • Valid CSCS
  • Full Driving License
  • First Aid at Work
  • Knowledge of engineering, building regulations, legislation, and Health and Safety
  • Previous experience in Roads & Bridges, Civils, Groundworks, and Structures
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and planning skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
