B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Staverton Airport, Gloucester.

We are seeking a highly skilled B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team at Staverton Airport. As a leading provider of maintenance services for Leonardo aircraft, we require an individual with a UK CAA Part 66 License type rating for AW109, Bell 206 or similar. Type training will be considered for the right applicant. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate proof of recency and eligibility to work in the UK.

The successful candidate will have at least one of the following UK CAA Part 66 License type ratings:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/Head of Department
  • Certify work within the scope of company authorisations
  • Carry out line and base maintenance at Castle Air facilities and off-site upon customer demand
  • Undertake all tasks related to aircraft maintenance
  • Work with other Castle Air Departments to ensure smooth operation of the business
  • Closely supervise other engineering and support staff as required
  • Ensure compliance with industry requirements and authorities
  • Comply with Continuing Professional Development requirements
  • Effective management of maintenance within your control
  • Computer literate on Microsoft based systems
