About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Change Manager to join our team at Alstom in Derby. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for leading the Configuration and Change Management activities for the Cairo Monorail project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the CCM activities in the Project/Program, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability of delivered products and services.
  • Apply Configuration and Change standard procedures, instructions, templates, and ensure team members adhere to them.
  • Represent the CCM Métier in project and site meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Evaluate and provide or approve compliance statements on all CCM-related requirements.
  • Report and escalate any CCM-related issues, proposing possible solutions.
  • Accountable for CCM Performance Indicators, deriving and managing actions (PDCA).
  • Ensure the execution of CCM audits and DfQ Gates for CCM deliverables.
  • Contribute to CCM training materials development and perform training when required/requested.
  • Perform CCM Audits on demand.
  • Manage configuration management activities, including identification, management, and accuracy of items under configuration control.
About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Expert knowledge of Configuration & Change Management.
  • Detailed knowledge and/or previous experience of Business Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Requirements Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrialization, Data Management, and Document Control inter-related with CCM.
  • Substantial experience in a configuration and change management role.
  • Work experience in an international environment.
  • Mandatory knowledge of railway products, railway solutions (signalling, telecom, etc.), systems, and components.
  • Knowledge of CCM tools (ALM, Clear Quest, Clear Case SAP, PLM, AEC-tpPLM, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate with all involved project/program stakeholders.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement on processes and standards for CCM.
  • Preferable trained to a recognized Configuration and Change Management standard.
