Manchester Civil Engineer (Highways and Drainage) Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Drainage and Highways Team in the Manchester Office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on highways and drainage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement drainage and highways projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and safety standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in civil engineering.
Requirements
  • MSc / MEng in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in highways and drainage engineering, with a focus on project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic modeling software, such as MicroDrainage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel for work, with a valid driver's license.
