Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bus Driver to join our team at Arriva Durham County Limited. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on our routes, ensuring a high level of customer service and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Manage cash and operate a point-of-sale system to process fares and handle customer transactions.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and staff to ensure smooth operations and achieve company goals.

Requirements:

  • PCV Licence (if you do not have this, please apply to our Trainee Bus Driver role).
  • At least 6 months driving experience and a valid driver's license.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours, as required.
