About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, you will represent Burberry within the investment community. As part of a dedicated team, you will play a key role in implementing an effective investor relations program that encompasses all aspects of capital markets communication.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with sell-side analysts, collate consensus forecasts, and monitor their perspectives on Burberry and the broader industry.
- Draft and compile results announcements, investor presentations, and supporting materials, including ownership of the Q&A document.
- Develop and maintain the reporting pack using IR Insight by Nasdaq, as well as the company's financial model.
- Track peer group activity and regularly share insights and analysis internally.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams to develop communication materials for both internal and external audiences.
- Gain a deep understanding of the company's financial performance and operations.
- Lead investor meetings, both scheduled and at industry conferences, as well as briefings with sell-side sales desks.
- Build relationships with buy-side and sell-side analysts and respond to their inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Support the shareholder targeting process.
- Contribute to regular updates for the Board and Executive Committee on investor relations activity and sentiment.
- Demonstrate confidence in addressing topics relevant to capital market participants.
- Be prepared to conduct overseas business trips as required.
About You:
You possess 4 to 5 years of experience in either buy-side or sell-side roles. Your strong written and verbal communication skills enable you to build rapport with colleagues and senior management alike. You have a keen commercial acumen and a solid understanding of financial statements. Your analytical abilities are sharp, and you thrive under pressure, delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
You are self-motivated, eager to learn and develop, and confident in leading meetings with both internal and external stakeholders. Your attention to detail is impeccable, and you are a team player who is willing to contribute to the success of the entire investor relations function.
