As a Smart Metering Apprentice, you'll play a vital role in helping our customers achieve their sustainability goals. You'll work with our cutting-edge technology, installing and repairing smart meters, and providing exceptional customer service.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 4 GCSEs, ideally including Maths & English, at grade C/4 or above or a recognised equivalent
  • A genuine passion for learning a trade, striving for a successful career & providing awesome customer service
  • A full UK driving licence with 6 points or less
  • Availability to attend training at one of our four UK academies – with accommodation and travel provided if needed.

Here's what's in it for you:

  • Starting salary of £15,435 rising to £23,877 at week 52 of your apprenticeship, there will be further increases to your salary during this time which will be confirmed later in our process.
  • Once you have completed the full programme and aftercare support your salary will increase to £37,104 with bonus and add ons on top.
  • We also offer London Weighting Allowance ranging from £4000 to £6000 (dependant on location) for living or starting your day within London.
