About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver exceptional food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing and cooking meals to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of food safety and allergens, ensuring that all staff are aware of best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve high-quality food and excellent customer service.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing kitchen staff, including training and development.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and allergens.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
