Special Educational Needs Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and qualified SENCO to join our team at Horizon Teachers. As a SENCO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our students with special educational needs receive the support and resources they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement SEND policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice.
- Work closely with the leadership team to create an inclusive culture and high aspirations for students with SEND.
- Track the progress of students with SEND, using data to identify barriers to learning and inform targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality support and resources for students with SEND.
- Experience as a SENCO or Assistant SENCO.
- Successful teaching experience and pastoral support.
- Knowledge and understanding of national priorities, current curriculum development, and the ability to design and implement an innovative curriculum based on student needs.
- Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
