Job Title: Quality Control Site Technician

Recurrent Energy is a leading solar operations and maintenance company in the UK, and we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Site Technician to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company that values teamwork, quality, and creativity. As a Quality Control Site Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our solar operations and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee health and safety and quality on new sites
  • Work to a planned maintenance schedule
  • Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Diagnose faults and inspect work in progress and upon completion
  • Repair equipment when necessary and inspect work for satisfactory performance
  • Participate in on-the-job training and provide guidance to colleagues
  • Review stock levels and request specialist components as required
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety policy
  • Recommend improvements and modifications
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders
  • Document work undertaken and provide daily activity reports
  • Identify and assess risks and review findings with management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years solar O&M experience
  • Site supervisory experience
  • 18th edition qualification
  • Level 3 electrical qualification
  • HV Authorised Person preferred but not essential
  • Experience with central and string inverter manufacturers desirable
  • Knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulation Standards and DC electrical systems
  • Ability to understand site drawings and SLDs
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with emergency situations
  • Hardworking, reliable, and flexible
