As a Senior Product Manager for Signo Reader Solutions, you will oversee the comprehensive management of the premier HID SignoTM readers within the HID Physical Access Control Solution (PACS) reader lineup.
This role is a multifaceted position that connects product development with engineering, operational, commercial, and support teams to deliver exceptional products and customer satisfaction.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, particularly in electro-mechanical and embedded firmware systems, within the RFID and physical access control sectors.
You will be responsible for leading initiatives to maintain, support, and ensure the success of the HID SignoTM reader product line, collaborating with a global team that includes Business/Epic owners, Product Owners, Engineers, and Operations experts.

As a Senior Product Manager for Signo Reader Solutions, your contributions will include:
- Leading and managing activities for the flagship Signo reader portfolio, aiming to deliver unique solution advantages with outstanding customer experiences.
- Driving innovation, continuous enhancement, and differentiation within the portfolio by comprehending internal and external customer requirements, market challenges, competitive landscape, and technological advancements.
- Ensuring that the execution of portfolio initiatives aligns with the broader reader roadmap, strategic vision, and business objectives.
- Managing changes to the Signo reader product vision and roadmap in accordance with overarching PACS strategic themes and solution visions.
- Defining and delivering clear, actionable product requirements that address internal, external, and market challenges from which value can be derived.
- Fostering outcomes, cultivating a results-driven mindset, and developing metrics to assess the effectiveness of the product line concerning lean budgets and guidelines.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams using Agile SAFe methodologies to synchronize marketing, sales, and product unit teams to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Creating and implementing comprehensive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for the complete lifecycle management of the Signo product line.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in product development from concept through to product launch.
- Experience in product management across various customer types, technologies, development methodologies, standards, and regulations.
- Ability to make informed trade-offs while taking calculated risks.
- Market-oriented mindset with the capability to anticipate shifts in business needs.
- Strategic thinking and effective management of complex projects.
- Proactive, hands-on, self-motivated, with strong documentation skills.
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership with Sales, Quality, Finance, and Operations.
- Capacity to challenge the status quo and promote a culture of change through effective Change Management.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly, tailored to the audience.
- Proficient communication in English, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and analytics such as Salesforce, Oracle-EBS, Oracle-PLM, etc.
- Experience with product development and management tools, such as Jira, TestRail, and Miro is advantageous.
Your Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is advantageous but not mandatory).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management or a similar capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of contactless RFID readers, including embedded hardware and firmware with cloud and mobile interfaces.
- Strong understanding of the physical access control and/or physical security industry.
- Experience with Agile development and lean innovation methodologies.
- Training in SAFe methodologies such as Implementing SAFe and/or SAFe POPM.
Customer Expectations:
- Ability to interpret internal requirements, customer RFIs/RFPs, specifications, and technical standards.
- Effective management of customer requirements and expectations.
- Proven track record of excellence in customer interactions.
Work Requirements:
- Adherence to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures concerning Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
- Willingness to travel, including international travel, necessitating possession or the ability to obtain a valid passport/visa.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment.
