The Supplier Relationship Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing and executing best practices for supplier management across BACB plc. Collaborating closely with the broader Third Party Management Team and various business stakeholders, this position aims to ensure effective oversight of BACB's primary suppliers, driving long-term operational efficiency and financial advantages while mitigating business risks.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Oversight: Supervise the operational collaboration with key third-party suppliers, including the design and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Performance Reviews: Organize and conduct business reviews with internal stakeholders to assess supplier performance, identify future opportunities, and address any challenges.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate professional relationships with essential stakeholders across the organization to gain insights into their objectives, performance challenges, and opportunities related to each expenditure category.
- Supplier Relations: Maintain robust relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure adherence to cost, quality, and delivery expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Assist in the enhancement of the Bank's Third Party Management policy, ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with BACB standards, including the documentation of best practices and minimum standards for vendor management.
- Standards Execution: Ensure the implementation of standards, controls, policies, procedures, and performance metrics to manage supplier relationships effectively and report on third-party performance across the organization.
- Contract Management: Oversee and maintain the Bank's inventory of vendor contracts, including tracking contract expirations and renewals.
- Metrics Development: Collaborate with stakeholders and governance boards to create and deliver accurate, standardized metrics and KPIs, including the development of vendor scorecards.
- Annual Reviews: Partner with internal stakeholders to conduct annual assessments of the Bank's Outsourced and Material Service Providers, managing the annual vendor reassessment process.
- Compliance Collaboration: Work alongside the Bank's Information Security and Compliance teams to ensure that vendors with access to sensitive information are categorized and evaluated according to the Bank's policies and standards.
- Issue Management: Ensure that vendor-related issues are escalated, documented, and tracked to resolution.
- Commercial Implementation: Support all commercial aspects of supplier onboarding and offboarding in alignment with the business strategy.
- Culture Development: Foster a culture that recognizes vendor management as a critical function within BACB plc.
