Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end ocean freight operations, including booking, pricing, and quotations.
  • Manage a network of over 600 suppliers and carriers.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including MAWB, HAWB, C88, SAD, and EUR1's.
  • Coordinate shipments, including OOG products, project forwarding shipments, and AOG time-critical shipments.
  • Ensure financial, quality, and safety targets are met.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in ocean freight.
  • Experience in managing or coordinating teams.
  • Freight forwarding experience, ideally managing a large sub-contracted carrier base.
  • Full functional knowledge of ocean freight LCL/FCL operations, including booking via carrier portals, documentation requirements, and deadline management.
  • Customs clearance knowledge and prior experience handling customs clearance for ocean.
