About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planner to join our team at Ogilvy. As a key member of our healthcare marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategic plans for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans that align with client business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in consumer behavior to inform future planning and strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and target audience, ensuring alignment with strategic plans.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for client growth.
  • Gather and analyze consumer insights to inform strategic decision-making and campaign development.
  • Work with creative teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns that align with client objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Develop and manage budgets for campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum impact.
Requirements
  • Strong critical and creative thinking ability with a real passion for healthcare.
  • Adept at mining actionable insights from a range of sources.
  • Persuasive and articulate in presenting ideas/views – challenging the status quo.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client relationship management expertise.
  • A track record in brand and communications planning.
  • Knowledgeable about the evolving communications landscape and how that could be applied within the healthcare environment.
  • Sound creative judgment.
  • Strong business/financial management competency/decision making.
  • Any experience working with global brands and teams, developing messaging and ecosystems to be used on a global scale would be fantastic.
