About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Grade Doctor to join our team as Medical Lead in Haemopoietic Stem Cell Processing. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, driving forward the high standards of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Quality Testing Department in patient evaluation and product quality testing, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Develop and maintain specialist skills in the Processing Department, ensuring regulatory compliance and a safe environment for cell harvests.
  • Translate research discoveries into clinical practice, driving innovation and improvement in patient care.
  • Support Clinical Trials within the laboratory, from Site Initiation Visit to Investigational Product receipt, storage, processing, and infusion.
Requirements
  • MBBS Degree and full GMC registration with a current licence to practise.
  • Professional training in haematology and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) training.
  • Minimum 12 years postgraduate experience, with at least 4/6 years in Haematology and 4/6 years in Cellular Therapy/Immuno-phenotyping/Diagnostic Lab, Blood Transfusion Science, Immunology or ATMP development laboratory with GMP.
  • Experience in clinical trials in cellular therapy and ATMP process development.
