About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Sheffield, supporting individuals with sensory loss in their own homes and in the community. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our service users to live independently and participate in activities that bring them joy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with everyday tasks, such as cooking and cleaning
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene
  • Help with finances and medication management
  • Accompany service users on community trips, such as shopping and social events
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
Requirements
  • Positive attitude and a can-do approach
  • Caring and empathetic nature
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Flexibility with shifts, including night shifts and sleep-ins
  • Full UK driving license (desirable)
  • Caring or support work experience (desirable)
  • BSL skills (desirable)
  • Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments and learning difficulties (desirable)
