Groundworker (Multi Skilled Technician) Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our team at Manpower UK Ltd. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including operating company vehicles, ensuring vehicle checks are completed, and uplifting and offloading products and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate company vehicles, ensuring you are suitably qualified to do so
  • Ensure all vehicle checks are completed prior to commencing work
  • Report any vehicle defects to supervision as soon as identified
  • Uplift and offload products and materials in a safe and compliant manner
  • Ensure the security of all company vehicles and equipment
  • Work to health and safety standards, including following provided RAMS documentation
  • Clean all plant and equipment post-job
  • Liaise with customers on site to discuss ongoing work and further services
  • Complete all works paperwork and submit in a timely manner to divisional supervision
  • Liaise with supervision regarding all works and recommend improvements

Requirements:

  • Manual labouring experience in construction, civils, or environmental services
  • Full training will be provided
  • A driving licence is required

What You'll Do:

As a Groundworker, you will be working Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with regular overtime at evenings and weekends, and call out bonuses. You will be responsible for ensuring all vehicle checks are completed, operating company vehicles, and uplifting and offloading products and materials. You will also be required to work to health and safety standards, including following provided RAMS documentation.
