Role Overview
As the Night Shift Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of production during the night shift. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high quality standards, and leading a team of skilled professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve production targets and optimize operational effectiveness.
- Cultivate a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to strict safety protocols and promoting best practices.
- Develop and implement production plans, effectively allocating resources and coordinating activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Guarantee timely delivery of products that meet stringent quality standards, collaborating with quality assurance teams to maintain excellence.
- Lead shift briefings, emphasizing continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost reduction, and delivery performance.
- Proactively address customer concerns, investigating issues and implementing solutions to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management to implement continuous improvement programs, driving operational efficiency and enhancing productivity.
- Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a culture of learning and development within the production team.
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, accidents, and non-conformities, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage attendance, performance, and personnel issues effectively, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in food manufacturing environments, demonstrating a deep understanding of production processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to the food industry, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe workplace.
