About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at a leading healthcare provider. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards, and supporting the Catering Team with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean working station, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of the kitchen, dining area, and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards
  • Wash up all crockery, cutlery, and utensils used by the kitchen, guests, staff, and visitors
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the total washing-up area, including all equipment within that area
  • Prepare and deliver drinks as required by guests
  • Notify the head chef/cook or manager of any faulty or damaged equipment used by the kitchen staff
  • Support the Catering Team with the day-to-day running of the kitchen and ensure high standards are met at all times
Requirements
  • Ambitious and driven individual with excellent attention to detail
  • Good team player with a willingness to contribute fully and show flexibility as part of the overall team
  • Experience in a similar role is required
