We are supporting a leading business in Chigwell to recruit a permanent Credit Controller. This office-based role involves joining a warm and interpersonal team, reporting to a brilliant Credit Manager, and taking a methodical approach to minimising bad-debt provisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payments and handling overdue invoices.
- Evaluating creditworthiness of new and existing clients to set credit limits and terms.
- Resolving customer queries and disputes through effective communication.
- Ensuring customer payment records align with company financial systems.
- Preparing reports for management on overdue accounts and outstanding balances.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar working environment, excellent communication skills, and an investigative approach. They will be able to commute to the offices in Chigwell for full-time work.
Requirements:- Proven experience in credit control or a similar field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
