Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our team at Randstad UK Holding. As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations and ensuring that all safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise electrical installations and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Conduct regular site inductions and toolbox talks to ensure a safe working environment
  • Review and monitor supplier inspection and test plans to ensure quality and safety
  • Support commissioning activities and ensure that all electrical systems are functioning properly
  • Attend collaborative planning meetings to discuss project progress and identify potential issues
  • Ensure that all electrical safety rules are adhered to and supporting documentation is produced
  • Carry out electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment
  • Hold regular meetings with supply chain supervisors to discuss project progress and identify potential issues
  • Oversee electrical testing and ensure that all results are documented and reported
  • Issue limitation of access permits to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas

Requirements:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification
  • Appointed Person Status
  • FAAW certification
  • ECS card
  • C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations
  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations
  • IEE 18th edition wiring regs
  • 2391 Test and Inspect (desirable)
